That idea became the foundation behind this collaboration between All About Guitar and Munson Guitars.
Together, we set out to create a modern S-Style guitar that respected the heritage of the design while refining every detail for today’s players. The result is a custom-built instrument that combines premium craftsmanship, player-focused specifications, and modern performance upgrades into one seriously inspiring guitar.
And yes… traditionalists may have something to say about it.
A Shared Vision
The collaboration between All About Guitar and Munson Guitars was built around a simple goal: create an instrument without compromise.
Rather than following traditional factory specifications, this project focused entirely on what working musicians actually need from a guitar. Reliability, feel, tone, balance, and playability became the priority from day one.
Munson Guitars brought their unique design approach and craftsmanship to the project, while All About Guitar focused on the finer details of setup, functionality, finishing, and player experience. Every decision was carefully considered to ensure the final instrument delivered far more than just visual appeal.
This wasn’t about recreating the past.

Refining an Iconic Platform
There’s a reason the S-Style guitar remains one of the most popular electric guitar designs ever created. It works. It’s comfortable, versatile, and instantly familiar to players across almost every genre.
But familiarity doesn’t always mean perfection.
This build allowed us to take everything players already love about the platform and improve the areas that modern musicians constantly modify themselves. Better hardware. Enhanced tuning stability. Refined electronics. Superior playability. Premium finishing work.
Every upgrade was selected with purpose.
